The Topic: Composer 2 is installed globally on the server. We have Drupal 8 sites running on the server that have plugins and Drupal-composer plugins compatible with Composer 1. We need to resolve these Composer issues in order for Composer commands to be run. Furthermore, we also need to Upgrade the Drupal 8 sites to Drupal 9. This article looks at resolving these composer issues.

The Topic: Upgrading Drupal 8.9.19 to 9.2.6. A record of my process.

I have attempted to upgrade from Drupal 8 to 9 for some time now. Frankly I found the process confusing, unclear and at times contradictory. Then again, I did not allocate focussed time to get the job done. Over the past few days I knuckled down, dissected the documents and tutorials I found and succeeded in my task.

Faceted search allows users to narrow their search options and find what they are looking for without guesswork and or too much filtering and browsing.
